Conference on World Affairs: April 2007

Farnaz Wallace spoke on 6 panels at the Conference on World Affairs, a week long annual conference in Boulder, Colorado.  The Conference on World Affairs brings together “100 participants representing a wide range of backgrounds for what The New York Times calls ‘a week-long extravaganza of discussion and debate’ on approximately 200 panels, plenaries and performances. Conference participants discuss issues on an impromptu basis—a refreshing alternative to the specialized gatherings of academia and the business world.”  The panel topics that Farnaz spoke on included, profit is not a four-letter word, fast food, slow food, mass consumption, and media.
